IP-NFT Solution
The IP-NFT (Intellectual Property Non-Fungible Token) solution is designed to represent and safeguard the ownership of research projects within our platform. Each research project will generate a batch of IP-NFTs, which will serve as unique digital certificates that encapsulate essential project information, including objectives, methodologies, and outcomes. These IP-NFTs will be securely linked to an Agreement stored on the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS), ensuring transparency and immutability.
Before the minting process of the IP-NFTs, OpenSci will assist researchers in registering their intellectual property with relevant professional parties. This proactive approach not only secures IP ownership but also provides a formal recognition of research contributions. Additionally, reference IP information will be embedded within each IP-NFT, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of the associated intellectual property rights.
