2. Eligibility To be eligible to submit a research project, you must be an individual or entity with the necessary qualifications and expertise in your scientific field.

3. Project Submission

• All project proposals must include the required information: team background, project title, science sector, duration, cost, milestones, methodology, deliverables, and future impact.

• By submitting a project, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and truthful.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

• You retain ownership of any intellectual property generated from your research project, but you grant OpenSci a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute the project materials on the platform and related promotional activities.

• Any IP-NFTs minted will serve as proof of ownership and must adhere to the agreed-upon IP registration procedures.

5. Funding and Donations

• You acknowledge that funding for your project is contingent upon successful governance voting and reaching donation targets.

• OpenSci is not liable for any failure to secure funding for your project.

6. Reporting and Transparency

• You agree to provide regular progress reports at each milestone and to share your research findings with OpenSci and the community.

• Transparency in research is crucial, and you must disclose any challenges or failures encountered during the research process.

7. Review and Approval

• All submitted projects will be reviewed by OpenSci advisors, who may provide feedback and recommendations.

• The final decision on project approval rests with OpenSci and the governance voting process.

8. Termination of Agreement

• OpenSci reserves the right to terminate your project’s participation at any time if you fail to comply with these Terms & Conditions.

• Upon termination, any remaining funds will be locked and may be used for other purposes as determined by OpenSci.

9. Limitation of Liability

• OpenSci is not liable for any damages arising from your participation in the platform, including but not limited to financial losses or reputational harm.

10. Modifications to Terms

• OpenSci reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. You will be notified of significant changes, and your continued participation will constitute acceptance of the modified terms.
